We’ve got sailing boots and shoes, sailing gloves, hiking pants and wet weather gear, plus a huge range of buoyancy vests and lifejackets. And our new range of Harken sailing clothing combines form and function.

Read Marine have kilometres of rope in stock, and an extensive range of yacht fittings. Whether it’s a new block for your main sheet, a cheap plastic cleat or that new wind meter, we’ll probably have it in stock and if we haven’t, we will know where to get it. We welcome orders from out of town customers.

Rigging

Read Marine provide an in-store rigging service for made-to-measure stainless steel and galvanised wire ropes.

Whether its holding up the mast on your boat, suspending your sunshade, creating balustrades for your home or hanging your fine art, Read Marine can custom make the wires for you.

We have an extensive range of components in stock :
Stainless steel and galvanised wire, turnbuckles, shackles, hooks, eyes, pulleys, cleats and all the fittings to join them together.

We can make up your wires with our hydraulic talurit press, and we have hand swaging tools available to hire for those difficult on site jobs.

Lifejackets

Read Marine stock an extensive range of lifejackets and buoyancy vests –both traditional and inflatable – for all watersports, and for all the family ( including the dog ).
